Like so many, Maddy and Isaac postponed their wedding for over a year due to the pandemic, but that just gave them the chance to tie the knot in one of the world’s dreamiest elopement locations. If Iceland wasn’t at the top of your list, it will be now. Maddy and Isaac they decided to have a small and intimate Iceland elopement with some of their closest friends and family. When they asked our team if we could help them document their wedding with photo & video, we jumped at the chance! We’re all about unique travel destinations!

We found a gorgeous field of wildflowers that we all unanimously fell in love with for their ceremony site. Maddy’s dad officiated their Iceland wedding, which made the day even more special. See the Northern Lights

While the Northern Lights are usually easier to see in the winter, many people prefer to go during the summer. You can easily book a tour from Reykjavik that will pick you up at your hotel and take you out of the city. Be sure to check that it’s not too cloudy before you leave, otherwise you won’t be able to see the spectacular green lights in the sky. 

Tour the Golden Circle

The Golden Circle is 190 miles long and consists of Iceland’s top 3 attractions found in nature: Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss Waterfall. You can either rent a car to drive and see these locations at your own pace, or you can choose to book a tour with knowledgeable guides.
