When you know, you know. And Maggie and Ryan knew from the start that they were meant to be together. Why let 2020 keep them from starting their life together? Although they have a large wedding scheduled sometime next year to celebrate with all of their friends and family, they decided to do an intimate elopement at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania.
Surrounded by their very nearest and dearest, the stepped into their forever together. This was one of the most touching and heartfelt elopements I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, and it was an honor to capture it all for them.
The day could not have been more perfect. We had big blue skies and some sun for warmth. This outdoor winter wedding was absolutely dreamy!
Maggie and Ryan began their big day with a beautiful first look among the trees. They shared a few quiet moments all to themselves before the ceremony.
I love how Ryan wears his heart on his sleeve, and Maggie is clearly over the moon in love with him. Every picture showed both their deep friendship and love for one another – no wonder they couldn’t wait to tie the knot!
After a few more dips and twirls by the pond, they joined their friends and family to say, “I do!” It was a joyous occasion, even the swans and their sweet pup had to agree. I loved every minute of their elopement session, and I’m thrilled for their adventure ahead. Congrats, Maggie and Ryan!
The cool thing about this elopement is that Maggie and Ryan were able to get their natural mountain views with the luxury of a resort. A mountain resort elopement is the perfect option for couples who want to host a small reception and while keeping some of the more traditional wedding aspects while still enjoying the mountain ambiance. A mountain resort offers convenience and a breathtaking nature experience.
