Sunset Motorcycle Engagement Session

outdoor engagement photoshoot

When I say I’m along for your wild ride, I mean it! This stunning couple wanted to do a sunset moto sesh, and I couldn’t wait to help them plan it. Their engagement photoshoot might look hot and edgy – and it was! – but Brooke and Nathan are also two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. I had a blast with them, and their session seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. (Plus, I might be a bit jealous of their awesome bike. 😉)

With this romantic session as proof, you don’t have to settle for the same old boring engagement photos you see on many save the dates. Instead, spice things up for an experience you’ll never forget!

3 Tips for An Unforgettable Engagement Photoshoot

1. Choose a special location.

Pick a place that holds memories for you – or a new place you want to discover together. I’m a huge fan of adventure sessions. I’ve traveled to Glacier National Park, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone, the Colorado Rockies, Death Valley National Park, and more to get some incredible photos. I enjoy helping couples plan extraordinary experiences. (Plus, I can get us into any national park with my handy park pass!

2. Focus on what you love.

Brooke and Nathan like to experience life on the back of a motorcycle, but maybe you and your other half like to hike or kayak. Or, maybe you’d rather try out craft beers at local breweries or visit little-known wineries. What puts the wind in your sails? What do you like to do together? The most authentic images happen when you’re doing what you enjoy. I’m here for your wild and crazy. This is not your typical photoshoot. Have fun making memories while I capture it all for you – lead the way.

3. Ignore the photographer.

Okay, maybe not completely – we can’t have every photo with you turned away. But I’m here for you, not the other way around. I want to help you get those stunning and sexy magazine shots without you even knowing they’re happening. Before your shoot, I’ll scope out some picture-worthy backdrops and breathtaking trails. Then, during the session, I’ll lead you through a few poses while giving you time and space to enjoy the moment. Go ahead and laugh, chat, and snuggle like you normally would. I think you’ll be amazed at how photogenic you are when you’re simply enjoying life together! No forced smiles needed.
