The bride flew out her GORGEOUS silk THEIACouture wedding gown. So timeless, classy, and stunning. She chose this jaw dropping dress from her hometown local boutique, Blanc de Blanc.
If you are getting married in Jackson and Grand Teton National Park, Tanya Crocker is your definite choice for hair and makeup. She does an incredible job and is SUPER reputable in the area. She is the absolute best for your Grand Teton National Park wedding or elopement!
The couple chose the beautiful Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa at Jackson Hole for their stay, which is where they got ready and the little details of the day were captured.
The details were all so gorgeous. I love love when a bride has a bold vision. This gorgeous bouquet featured some boho romantic work by Gold Dust Floral. Chanel earrings, leather personalized jacket, and her grandmother’s beautiful ring.
When Becca and Adam originally reached out to me a little over a year ago, they had plans for a traditional style wedding at a hometown venue, but had mentioned even in their initial inquiry that they had thought about elopement, but decided on the more traditional route ultimately.
Fast forward to March 2020, and COVID shook up all of our lives. A few months went by, summer came, and their wedding date was approaching fast and it was time to talk about our game plan. Becca and I talked about their ideas, and I was down. She told me that they were thinking about ACTUALLY eloping. And they had their eyes set on Grand Teton National Park in early October (a PERFECT fall time of the year in Wyoming for a wedding… you will see why)
Moments before the first look….
These two spent hours with me adventuring around Grand Teton National Park together before their ceremony. We were able to stop at a variety of locations featuring Leigh Lake, the Tetons, and the famous Mormon Row.
Quick stop to tie the boots. There was lots of hiking this day! the trails were fairly flat though and the weather was perfect in early October- not too hot, and not cold at all!
I told Becca and Adam that I definitely debating hanging this hiking photo in my home too LOL. I really think it just sums up their day. Sunshine, togetherness, and happiness amidst all the chaos. It was absolutely perfect and I was so pumped for them all day.
It is CRAZY to me that we had just met earlier that day. Becca and I had emailed and had some phone conversations when making new plans, but this was the first time we met in person and they NAILED it. Their adventurous vision, and ‘go with the flow’ personalities truly show and they were just happy to be with each other, doing the dang thing their way.
Next, we headed to the ceremony site. We had planned for this gorgeous spot near sunset, after their portraits around Grand Teton National Park because I knew that this location would give them a perfect gold sunset look – and with the beautiful weather that we got, it WAS perfect. Check out one of my favorite photos of the day- Adam snapping a photo of his wife-to-be 🙂
Seriously nothing more adventurous and awesome than wearing boots on your wedding day. And I bet her feet were the MOST comfortable even after an 8 hour adventure 🙂
Moments after Becca and Adam’s family met up with them at the ceremony spot 🙂 Alllll the smiles. AND The awesome thing about this spot is that there are two benches for guests to sit at if you are thinking about inviting a few close friends and family members. There are other spots in the park for wedding ceremonies, but many, like this one, do not allow chairs to be set up. The benches that were already there were perfect for this intimate ceremony.
Becca’s sister actually officiated their wedding! She was able to become ordained in time for their ceremony, and it made the day even more special.
The most gorgeous family photo spot…. and we chose to snap a few more bride and groom portraits too because how could you not?! This is one of my favorite spots in all of Grand Teton National Park. If you are thinking about eloping or having your ceremony here, I can get you all the details about permits for this location! You do need a special use permit and photography permit to get married and take photographs in Grand Teton National Park. If you have your ceremony on a weekday like Becca and Adam, there are way less people. The weekends are MUCH busier! I always recommend weekdays for my elopement and destination couples. Especially in Grand Teton National Park.
Jackson, Wyoming is the cutest mountain town with so many things to see and do, and great restaurants to try. And Grand Teton National Park has so many gorgeous options for engagement and wedding portraits that we can choose from! I will scout all of the locations out for you and help you obtain all of the proper permits for a smooth day!

“This woman is an exceptional professional and is filled with talent. You should feel 100% confident in your decision to book Mariah as your photographer because she is going to be prepared, efficient, amiable, and creative for you on your day. My husband and I eloped and we simply couldn’t have done it without her. First off — she was down to scrap our original plan and snuck away with us to the mountains without hesitation. She answered our questions, she helped us plan, she hiked 4 miles, and she kindly kept us on schedule the entire day. When we received our gallery, I could feel the emotion pouring out of each photo. Each image feels like a time warp bringing us right back to that priceless moment. Do it. Book this girl before someone else does!”
