If only there could be a few more hours in a day on your wedding day. It may go by all too fast, but the memories you’ll make will last forever. Francesca and Riley knew they wanted an elegant, classic wedding, but most of all, they wanted their day to reflect and celebrate who they are as a couple. PPG Wintergarden was the perfect venue for these two. It’s filled with natural light and beautiful greenery for a bright, spacious, and modern ambiance.

This lovely bride is a well-known fitness coach in Pittsburgh and an influential Lululemon Ambassador. She coaches at Elevate Fusion Fitness in the Strip District (and I can personally attest that she is one of the best if you’re ready to sweat!) Among her many talents, she’s also a Culinary storyteller for Medici Importers Global(@mediciimportersglobal—check it out!) I love supporting local businesses and businesswomen, and it was an honor to work with Francesca and photograph their wedding day.

From First Look to Cake Cutting

I always ask couples what they’re most looking forward to on their wedding day, and Francesca said she couldn’t wait for the first look—and cutting the cake! Both big moments are times during the day when things slow down a bit so they can take it all in and savor it, just the two of them. Riley teared up when he turned around and saw his radiant bride before him. That’s the moment when it all starts to feel real. The day has finally arrived! And they laughed together and enjoyed every bite of their slice of cake. Then, it’s time to celebrate as newlyweds!
