Romantic Wyoming Wedding | The Wedding Tree Jackson Hole Wyoming

Shannon-Marie and Rob envisioned a heartfelt experience for their wedding day, and their mountainside elopement was that and more! There wasn’t a dry eye to be found as these two incredible people exchanged vows at the Wedding Tree in Bridger-Teton National Forest. This scenic Wyoming wedding venue won’t disappoint!

And just when everyone thought it was time to end family photos, they handed the bouquet to the bride’s mother, and her father got down on one knee! Shannon-Marie had planned a surprise vow renewal for her parents, making this day one they’ll never forget—and neither will I! It was absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite photos from their day is of the newlyweds looking in on the vow renewal. To me, it’s a portrait of the continuation of her parents’ legacy of love. In fact, the bride specifically requested plenty of picture with her mom and family:

“She’s the reason I am who I am, and I want to be able to show my grandkids these photos and tell them how their great-grandmother changed the world (and she has!)”

This family loves hard, laughs a lot, and makes the most of every moment. Needless to say, my camera didn’t get much of a rest with one priceless photo after another.

In addition to celebrating with their loved ones, Shannon-Marie and Rob love adventure, and the mountains suit them perfectly. They specifically expressed their excitement about having some alone time after the ceremony to take in the view and venture around a bit for spectacular Wyoming portraits. Their timeline was perfect, and we had plenty of time to chase the mountain views and savor the moment.

Getting Married at The Wedding Tree in Grand Teton National Park

Shannon-Marie and Rob’s ceremony location is one of my top picks in all of Grand Teton National Park. Unlike other areas, you can actually reserve the Wedding Tree with an application. You don’t have to worry about hikers and onlookers, and it gives you the space and privacy you need.

The Wedding Tree is also near Schwabacher’s Landing, which is one of my favorite views for wedding portraits. It has all the necessary elements: water, trees, and, of course, the majestic Tetons in the back with great lighting. This spot is consistently phenomenal for portraits (whereas some spots kind of depend on the weather and lighting). It’s also common to see moose or other wildlife from that spot, too. (Imagine having a moose hanging out in the backdrop of your wedding portraits!)

Mountain Elopement meets Luxury Wedding

Shannon-Marie and Rob’s Grand Teton wedding is the perfect example of how you can have a dreamy mountainside wedding without sacrificing a grand reception. As far as wedding venues in Wyoming go, the Cloudveil is as dreamy as they come! (They actually got ready at Amangani, and it’s a beautiful Wyoming wedding venue, too.)

I would love to recommend an incredible Grand Teton wedding vendor team and hotels/resorts for the luxury wedding you envision. From a custom-designed wedding cake to hand-tied bouquets and rentals and transportation, your wedding can have it all. Let me know what you have in mind, and I’ll help curate your Grand Teton wedding day. Check out Shannon-Marie and Rob’s vendor team below to get you started. Their “getting ready” and reception resorts are fantastic Wyoming wedding venues! Jamison & Tania from Jamison Events are a dream to work with!
