2020 has thrown us all for a loop, but Brianna and Vincent made the most of it! This was their year, and they weren’t about to let a pandemic ruin it for them. You can’t hold back love! Bri and Vinnie originally planned a big wedding for September, which didn’t quite work out. They decided to postpone it in order to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. But they followed their heart and signed up for an epic adventure photo session with me in honor of their special day.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade – or a tasty cocktail 😉! No doubt, their big wedding in 2021 will be amazing! I am so excited for them. But that didn’t mean they had to put everything on hold. Now, they’ll have twice as many memories from their intimate adventure session and their big wedding day. Their adventure session was like a pre-honeymoon – these two were on fire!
For their photo session, we couldn’t think of any place more romantic than Glacier National Park in Montana’s Rocky Mountains. We all flew out there, and I already had a few secret backcountry spots planned out for them. One of my favorite locations is the small, crystal-clear pool. It’s surrounded by smooth rock ledges and peaceful pines – just the spot for some lazy daydreaming. The lighting here is absolutely gorgeous. The trees soften the sun’s rays for spectacular images.
It goes without saying, Bri and Vinnie could be models. The entire shoot felt so natural and fun. We started with photos by the water during the warmest time of the day. The clouds tend to roll in during the afternoon hours, and it gets too cold to really enjoy. The water was still pretty chilly, but they still had fun playing, exploring, and just relaxing by the cool water while I documented the experience for them.
Then, we got the “okay” to venture off the trail a bit to get some great wildflower shots! Bri looked so beautiful in her flowy dresses. Mother Nature worked her magic and gave us just the right amount of cloud cover and a gentle breeze to add some nice contrast and energy to their photos. We had a blast during their adventure session, and it was a great way for the two of them to celebrate their original wedding date together. Here’s to many more adventures – cheers, Bri and Vinnie!
I’ve been to many national parks, and Glacier National Park is still one of my absolute favorites. The weather is just right – a steady 70 degrees in the summer months – and the variety of backdrops and places to explore are endless! If you’re ready to get away for a few days, I can’t recommend GNP enough! But an iPhone just doesn’t do the experience justice. Connect with me to schedule an adventure session at Glacier National Park (or any national park) that you’ll never forget. I already have the passes ready and the locations scoped out! All you have to do is get there.
