Dreaming of a romantic San Francisco wedding? I had the most wonderful time photographing Kortni and Troy’s wedding ceremony and reception in the stunning Golden Gate Park. The sweet couple from Pennsylvania envisioned a timeless, classy, and modern style for their big day, and I think this location helped them achieve the perfect balance of all three. Plus, there are so man fun things to do in San Francisco after you tie the knot! It’s a wedding and honeymoon all in one.
After their ceremony at Golden Gate Park, we were able to do their couple’s portraits around the area. I love shooting here because there’s a variety of gorgeous backdrops to choose from! After our photo session, the couple had their intimate reception with their closest friends and family at the modern SENS San Francisco restaurant, which features an incredible view! It was a night to remember, and I can’t wait to photograph more sessions in beautiful San Francisco!

Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city? Mount Sutro is a calm oasis right in the heart of San Francisco with winding trails galore. This evergreen forest was planted over 100 years ago by Alfred Sutro, a former mayor of San Francisco known for his quirky personality. Featuring an 80-acre eucalyptus forest, the green background of the towering trees provides a stunning backdrop for your photos. For a moodier and more ethereal look, visit on a foggy day.
This architectural masterpiece is highly sought after for all types of photo sessions. If you choose the Golden Gate Bridge for your photo shoot location, be sure to stop at Fort Point and Battery Spencer. These two photogenic locations give you the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge so that you can capture the entire bridge over the water all in one gorgeous shot.
For 360 degree views of downtown San Francisco, Corona Heights Park is the place to be! You can reach this viewpoint with a short, one-mile walk up the trail, passing gorgeous red rocks along the way. Many people love taking photos here because you can see everything! And for an extra pop of color in your photos, be sure to arrive right before sunset.
This magical location by the ocean was created by a local artist named Edward Aguilera. He placed an endless number of rocks in a continuous circular pattern, creating a labyrinth on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Land’s End Labyrinth is absolutely stunning for photoshoots, but be prepared for wind coming off the water! And be sure to wear comfortable shoes. You’ll need them for walking up the trail to reach the labyrinth. Trust me, it’s worth it!
