Melissa and Moe’s elegant wedding day was as timeless as their love. These two have a combined personality that lights up the entire room—minimal décor needed! Their gorgeous wedding took place at Longue Vue Club in Pittsburgh, one of Pittsburgh premier country clubs. The entire day was filled with fun, laughter, and all the happy tears. Melissa and Moe wear their hearts on their sleeves, and it made for incredible photos. You can feel the emotion in every shot. (I love when a groom is not too shy to just let it all out!) There are simply no words for the way Moe looks at his lovely bride.
In tune with their classic theme, shades of ivory and blush pink paired with votive candles and flowing natural greenery elevated their design beautifully. Their style perfectly complements their sweet and fun-loving spirit.
Tip: The bride offered pieces of her wedding dress from alterations to use for their lay-flat detail shots. I’m in love with how it came out! Using personal mementos and materials make detail shots even more meaningful.
Because we stayed at the venue all day from getting ready to newlywed sendoff, Melissa and Moe’s wedding day was a seamless and stress-free as they come! We had more than enough time for each photo shoot throughout the day tons of flexibility during transitions.
I highly recommend choosing an aesthetically versatile venue that allows us to change scenery without changing location. Your wedding day goes by so fast! Limiting location changes ensures you spend more time savoring the day and being with those you love than dealing with transportation and logistics.
There are several fantastic options near Pittsburgh for your all-day wedding extravaganza. These elegant country clubs feature stunning architecture, lush landscapes, and beautiful ballrooms—plenty of photo ops throughout the day!
Consider these three exclusive Pittsburgh country clubs for classic, traditional wedding styles:
Pittsburgh Field Club features a beautifully manicured golf course (with the most vibrant foliage in the fall!) as well as a pond, aquatic center, and clubhouse. Their grand ballroom can host up to 400 guests, or you can opt for the cozy board room or al fresco for your event or reception. Pittsburgh Field Club offers in-house catering as well as event planning, setup, and takedown.
I love the red brick and white trim of the Fox Chapel Golf Club. Mature trees and woodlands separate the fairways throughout the sprawling golf course. Their dining room and grand ballroom can accommodate intimate weddings and large celebrations of up to 300 seated guests. Meanwhile, the culinary team and banquet team work together to make sure your event exceeds your expectations so you can make all the memories!
The prestigious Allegheny Country Club offers the perfect balance of historic charm and modern appeal. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring extra light into the ballroom so it feels bright and airy for your celebration. Plus, you still feel connected to your guests on the patio and lawn just outside the ballroom. The spaces and layout here are phenomenal! Plus, the trees and grasslands beyond the clubhouse and ballroom give this venue a slight countryside feel, but it’s still very classic, chic, and elegant. It’s a bit more modern than the other two venues.
