Le Mont Restaurant | Elegant Italian Wedding at 5-Diamond Venue

Alexa and Luciano wanted to celebrate their marriage with an elegant black-tie affair. Le Mont, Pittsburgh’s only 5-Diamond restaurant, set the stage for their dazzling evening with family and friends. Le Mont Restaurant overlooks the intersection of the three rivers and showcases expansive views of the city, so it provided the perfect ambiance for the evening. Alexa had a clear vision for their gorgeous wedding, but what she most looked forward to was seeing Luciano and their daughter waiting for her down the aisle. The moment was even sweeter than anyone could have imagined. Cue all the happy tears!

Their wedding day exuded luxurious elegance and sophistication, but it also felt so warm and heartfelt from beginning to end. Luciano wears his heart—and every expression on his sleeve. These two are the real deal, and they were just so much fun to be around. Nothing about this day felt rushed or stressful. They had me laughing the whole time. Alexa looked absolutely stunning in her elegant dress and Luciano looked handsome with his white tuxedo jacket which photographed beautifully as well. I loved every detail that played into the overall theme and occasion!

A Personalized Wedding at LeMont, Pittsburgh

To personalize their day, the began by reading letters from each other. Amazingly, their daughter carries both of their families’ names! Luciana is both Alexa’s mother’s name and the feminine version of Luciano’s name. When baby Luciana joined them for their first dance as husband and wife, and then again for the mother/daughter dance, there wasn’t a dry eye to be found.

After getting ready at Hotel Monaco, Alexa and Luciano chose to take some time before the ceremony to enjoy the moment together and enjoy the beautiful rooftop views overlooking downtown Pittsburgh. Then, after the ceremony, we took more portraits in downtown Mount Lebanon near the church before the sun went down. I especially love the diversity in the wedding photos. I try to remind couples it’s ok to spend a bit of time away from it all to walk around and savor the moment together. Plus, you get some great photos out of it!

Le Mont is as much an event venue as it is an award-winning 5-Diamond restaurant. They strive to make special occasions even more memorable, hosting anywhere from 25 to 300 guests. Their wedding packages are unique in that as long as you opt for the full in-house wedding package—dinner, hors d’oeuvres, bar service–there is no room rental fee. The minimum guest count (without incurring a fee) is 125 on Saturdays, and 20 for Sunday-Friday (which is good to keep in mind if you want a small wedding.)
