You don’t need a fake Elvis to elope in Las Vegas. For those who want a balance of exciting night life and stunning red rock beauty, Elopement Las Vegas can deliver. Kendra and Justin are from Pennsylvania like yours truly, but these globetrotters had their engagement session in New York City and had their Valley of Fire wedding just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. Before the ceremony, the guys got ready at Caesars Palace and the girls got ready at the Vdara Hotel & Spa. Both are gorgeous hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Then, we drove a little over an hour after getting ready to their spot at Valley of Fire State Park, which is known for its bright red sandstone rock structures, petrified trees, and ancient petroglyphs—definitely a park worth visiting if you’re in the area.
Kendra and Justin’s beautiful elopement is why I love what I do. The entire day was heartfelt, intimate, and authentically them. Everything they wanted and nothing they didn’t. They were able to go at their own pace and read their own vows before a handful of their very closest friends and family. Cue all the happy emotions! Then, they ended the elopement night with a quick bite at Chick-Fil-A before their fun-filled night on the town in Las Vegas.

After their happy-tear-filled vow exchange, Kendra and Justin shared their first dance, cake cutting, and champagne toast all right there in the Valley of Fire. Then we took portraits in some really unique caves and hillsides with views of the sun going down. The layered colors of the rock and desert guy were just breathtaking! I think their wedding day was everything they had hoped for and more! And we had a blast photographing and filming it.
