History of the Cool Springs House
Cool Springs House is Located in Brentwood, Tennessee, only about 15 minutes outside of Nashville. The Cool Springs house dates back to 1830 and has some serious romantic, farmhouse charm. Renovations to the house and land in the 1870s help to resemble the now wedding venue in this blog. As a result, today the beautiful home and the land is used as an event and wedding venue that hosts over 100 events every year. I always like to ask my couples what part of their wedding day they are most looking forward to. For Shelby, she said it would be walking down the aisle towards Chris and saying their vows. For Chris, he said it would be forward to their Vows and that post ceremony moment feeling of realizing that they are married.
How They Met
Shelby and Christopher met in the summer of 2018 at a game night planned by their mutual friends. Through friendship, time, and encouragement they started dating. They had two and a half wonderful years of dating before getting engaged at the beginning of 2021.
When I spoke to them about their vision, they described a natural, intimate, and intentional wedding photography. I love to really capture the emotion and joy of the celebration for my clients. As a result, genuine emotions and personalities emerge in the images, which you can definitely see here during Shelby and Chris’ wedding. In addition, they chose minimalist decor and gorgeous greenery to complete the romantic feel of their reception while keeping the focus of the day on time with their guests.
