Whew! Was this elopement dreamy or what?! When they weren’t lost in each other’s eyes, Natalie and Nathan were swept up in the magnificent natural beauty around them. The key to great wedding images is always authenticity. And this Glacier National Park wedding was full of it – no forced poses here. Natalie and Nathan’s deep love for each other literally radiates in every image!
To begin, these two lovebirds donned their wedding attire and hiking boots for portraits in the mountains. After all, what’s a bride without her groom? I love that they decided to do bride and groom portraits together, and it fit the intimate elopement vibe they were going for.
If you know anything about me, you know that I love to showcase unique wedding stories. I enjoy seeing couples do what makes them happy. If that means deviating from tradition, that’s ok – it’s your big day!
For instance, if you want to do couple’s portraits instead of bridals, I say go for it! It’s easy to get in a few traditional bridal portraits and create an experience and once-in-a-lifetime photos of the two of you. A win-win!
It’s safe to say that Natalie and Nathan had an elopement experience they’ll never forget. Not only was the atmosphere absolutely gorgeous, but we had a few fluffy friends join in on our photoshoot. This session took place at one of my secret and secluded back-country spots! We all had to laugh when the mountain goats decided to pass through in the background without a care!
We had just enough of a glow from the sun to illuminate the photos. I’m in love with the moody bohemian ambiance it created. Plus, we had enough wind to breathe life into these photos without blowing us off the mountain! I always love how a breeze makes photos so much more dynamic – you can see the wind blowing through their hair and catching her dress. It’s so mesmerizing it feels like you’re there. That’s exactly what I want for Natalie and Nathan. I hope these images allow them to relieve these moments together for years to come!
Montana weddings never disappoint. Couples have endless locations to choose from, and I know of some great ones! Connect with me to start planning your Glacier National Park wedding or elopement. Share your vision, and we’ll make it happen (I can’t guarantee the mountain goats, but who knows what we’ll see up there)!
Have another place in mind? I do elopements in Colorado and Lake Tahoe, or anywhere in the U.S., too!
